Kweatherreport

installed the toys package. Don't seem to be able to get kweatherreport to run. Also it does not show up in the menu where the world clock etc show up.

Re: Kweatherreport

You can add and configure 'KWeather' applet into the system panel. You will only need to select a list of locations to report.

Re: Kweatherreport

i have it installed but its not showing up under system. I must be missing something on this distro that is not supporting the application.
I am useing Q4OS 2.2.1-n3

Re: Kweatherreport

I don't use kweather, but as it is an applet it would normally appear if you right click on taskbar ->add applet to panel>kweather

Re: Kweatherreport

i reverted to 1.8 and reloaded all my apps. the kweather came down with the toys, but seems to be nothing but a place holder. it does not apper in the menu under toys and you can't run it from terminal or the run command. I guess I will look for a diferent application to use.  Thanks.

Re: Kweatherreport

@mc1611
First install toys:
$ sudo apt-get install tdetoys-trinity

Next:
"Right click on taskbar -> Unlock panel"
"Right click on taskbar -> add applet to panel -> KWeather"
"Right click on the KWeather applet -> Configure"

It works fine in Q4OS Orion 1.8.3, 64bit
