Systemd-cron

Will systemd-cron be implemented into q4os? Given that systemd is used and appears to be the preferred option I would have thought it might be.
I have recently been playing with it (debian testing installation) and I do quite like the way it works (so far). I was going to attempt to install it in q4os but was not sure if I would have problems with cron/anacron/systemd-cron all living together...

Re: Systemd-cron

Yes, it looks like an attractive option. In any case, the basic Q4OS installation will keep to follow the default Debian packages set. We haven't performed testing of the 'systemd-cron' package, so we are not able to draw some conclusions so far, however we suppose it should work well with the default cron/anacron utilities.

Re: Systemd-cron

Thanks, I'll test it in a VM and see how it goes then.
