Scorpion Wine installation failing - broken packages.

Just trying to install WINE from Q4OS Software Centre after fresh install of Scorpion TDE r6 64

The attached text dump from the installer says I have held broken packages.

Have run -f install and checked in Synaptic - nothing shows as broken.

Puzzled - have done this loads of times before no problem - only stock repos nothing else.

Re: Scorpion Wine installation failing - broken packages.

It looks like the installer failed to add i386 architecture to your apt packaging system. It should be done automatically once the Wine installation process runs. As we are not able to reproduce the issue, we would guess you have configured Q4OS some way, that disabled adding the i386 arch. You could check that:
$ sudo dpkg --print-foreign-architectures
and, to add the i386 arch:
$ sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
and try to run the installer again.
