Notebook Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook C1020 doesn't shutdown

I have tried to install q4os scorpion on a Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook C1020 .

Everything seems to work (but monitor has to be set manually to 1024x768, else 1280 is detected), but when i try to shut it down it doesn't power off. First it shows a lot of garbage on the screen, then it remains turned on. In order to shut down the pc i need to keep the power button pressed.

Any ideas? (like some grub magic word?)

Thank you in advance.

Re: Notebook Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook C1020 doesn't shutdown

Edit: i just tried to shutdown via command line in tty2, just turning to tty2 shows the same gfx corruption and i have been unable to obtain x back again (even reisub didn't work). So it should be related to gfx card.

Edit 2: an old version of system rescue cd (2.6, with 3.0 kernel) doesn't show the problem turning off.
