get-iplayer

This is probably only of interest to those who live in the UK. get-iplayer is a command-line application for downloading programmes from bbciplayer. I tried to install it via apt but got a "no installation candidate". However it's possible to get it by first installing snap; see

https://tutorials.ubuntu.com/tutorial/b … ap-usage#0

I installed snapd using apt, and then installed get-iplayer using snap ("sudo snap install get-iplayer"). Doing "snap list" I get

Name         Version    Rev   Tracking  Publisher     Notes
core         16-2.37.2  6405  stable    canonical✓    core
get-iplayer  3.20       125   stable    snapcrafters  devmode

However, when attempting to run get-iplayer I get "command not found".

Any suggestions? Thanks.

UPDATE :

It worked after a reboot. ;-)
