tiling windows

Hi all,
I often have the need to place windows side by side for comparing them.
Is there a way to do that in TDE without manually arrange their size and position by dragging?
Thanks a lot
Ciao ciao

Re: tiling windows

I can't say for sure you can do this, but there are some options in Settings -> Control Centre -> Desktop -> Window Behaviour -> Moving which will allow specific placement of windows, and also gives some options for "window snap zone" settings, maybe adjusting some of these might get close to what you want. smile

Re: tiling windows

Unfortunately, Trinity desktop doesn't support windows tiling at the moment. It is a feature to do.

Re: tiling windows

You might find it interesting to right click on the Title Bar of a window and go to Advanced - there are all sorts of fun Window Controls - also lower down that menu you'll find Configure Window Behaviour.
Those 2 pretty well allow you to control anything you can alter in Trinity.

Re: tiling windows

Ok, thanks all for your help, at the end it's not a so big problem, I was just curious to know if maybe some hidden settings could do the trick
Ciao ciao smile
