USB WIFI dongles

I tried to run live 686 cd on my old Latitude D600 laptop.
It worked well with forcepae setting but I haven't cable connection and WI-FI card is broken so I use usb dongles to connect to the internet but they don't seem to be supported:
1) Ralink MT7601U (148f:7601) Wi-Fi adapter is not recognized at all. Linux Mint 18.1 and Lubuntu lts 16.04 distros have a full support even in live-dvd but unfortunally they become unstable after suspend/resume.
2) Hauwei E156 and E173 internet usb keys are interpreted like simple usb mass storage keys.
Can Q4OS handle properly an usb connection to the internet?

Yes, Q4OS supports wireless connections ordinarily. Unfortunately, your devices are not recognized by the default Q4OS kernel, so you may need to install the recent kernel, please see http://www.q4os.org/dqa011.html#system.5

Make sure you are using stable Q4OS 1.8 Orion, as Q4OS 2 testing has broken wireless networking support at the moment.

Re: USB WIFI dongles

I'm using 1.8.2 live 686 version. Is it possible to use the recent kernel in the live session? What's the kernel version in the live session?

No, you can use it on installed system only. The default kernel version is 3.16.
